Hi, I’m James.

I’m a software engineer, founder, husband, and dog dad. I was born in Indonesia, became Canadian, and now live in the United States.

I build AI-assisted products, developer tooling, and platform systems through Tracecove. Before that, I worked in native platform engineering at Credit Karma. You can explore my projects or read my resume.

This is also a place to explore identity, relationships, values, and the stories I tell about myself. My first essay, Who am I?, is a good place to begin.

I share practical things I learn in the courses and keep essays in the writing archive. You can follow new writing through RSS or reach me at james@lukanta.com.
